On-Board Information-Management Systems BIUS
They are intended for monitoring and control of combine harvester blocks and units operation by means of J1939 (CAN) protocol.
The systems are installed on combine harvesters KZS-10K, KZS-1218, KZS-1624, KZS-812, KZS-20 and similar to them.
The systems are manufactured in three types: BIUS.01, BIUS.02, BIUS.03.
BIUS.01, BIUS.02 systems consist of a terminal graphic cell (BTG), input-output unit (BVV), pulse generator (UFI); they use a colour graphic terminal with a liquid-crystal display 8,4″ and 5,7″ respectively.
BIUS.03 system consists of a terminal graphic module (MTG), ), input-output module (MVV), (UFI); it uses a black-and-white (monochrome) graphic terminal with with 5,6″ LCD.
BTG (MTG) serves for information display and operation control, it is set up with regard to its design features by programming of initial data at the system manufacturer’s and combine harvester manufacturer’s. BTG (MTG) is installed in a combine harvester cab.
BVV (MVV) serves for gathering and processing of information coming from the combine harvester sensors and for control of acting mechanisms.
UFI serves for gathering and processing of information coming from grain loss sensors.
BVV (MVV) and UFI are installed in a special cabinet for connection to a combine harvester electric circuit or on the combine harvester body.
Note: Active sensors of grain loss may be used for BVV (MVV) operation. In this case UFI may be absent.
The systems can be optionally manufactured with additional functions:
- crop capacity registration implemented with the help of a crop capacity registration device (URU)*;
- ombine harvester remote diagnosis* implemented by the system via GPRS module (vehicle remote monitoring terminal TU BY 290948129.007-2011 or similar device);
- fuel consumption registration revision on a personal computer implemented with the help of “Fiscal Agent” software;
- emergency and other statistical data revision on a personal computer implemented with the help of “Emergency Statistics” software.
The systems are connected to the combine harvester embedded network with bunches included in a connection kit for a definite combine harvester model. The bunches are not included in the main delivery set and are supplied on a separate agreement.
The systems allow to work with external devices of navigation and GSM communication by CAN 2.0B.
The systems are powered by the combine harvester embedded network with the rated voltage 24V.
Information displayed by BIUS.03 system is divided into screens: main parameters of combine harvester movement (transport mode); harvesting mode (combine operation); working part revolutions; system settings; advices.
The information is displayed in a digital, analog, light, and sound form (warning and alarm signaling) and in the form of voice message.
In case of preventing situations or a fault, a pop-up window with a text information about the fault appears on the current screen (transport or combine operation mode). The pop-up windows are accompanied by a voice message. The advice screen displays advices on selection of combine harvester operation mode depending on crop capacity and grain and straw moisture, as well as advices on fault removal.
The systems display parameter values in a specified display range, including speed, revolutions, combine harvester running time, motor, treated area, travel (total and current values), efficiency, fuel level etc.
The systems perform monitoring of decrease in working part revolutions due to slipping with activation of light and acoustic alarm and voice message.
The information about relative losses of grain is displayed in an analog and digital form by each channel separately (after cleaning and straw shaking) and is given in time unit or on unit of area according to the operator’s choice.
System features:
- a possibility for an operator to trip voice messages;
- a possibility for an operator to reset of meter readings for current values of running time, travel and treated area;
- gathering and display of emergency statistics on the screen for all available controlled parameters. The recording format: date and time, parameter name, beginning, end and time of being in a contingency;
- a possibility to save the last month emergency statistics in nonvolatile memory, its display for revision on BTG (MTG) and transmission for analysis to a personal computer via USB flash drive (kit of tools and accessories for BIUS.03) or via GSM module;
- a possibility to switch off any monitoring channel (except thrashing drum, motor, cleaning fan, upper beam and parking brake switching), if necessary or in case of sensor failure, with display on the screen and sensor disconnection time fixing (except “grain tank 100” sensor);
- fuel consumption registration function;
- sending a warning beep or voice warning if grain losses exceed maximum allowed level;
- a possibility to set an admissible loss level and automatic setting of sensitivity in each channel depending of the kind of harvested crops with a possibility of adjustment by the operator;
- additional memory of events;
- selection of some other languages for text messages out of the menu at customer’s request;
- a possibility to choose a combine harvester from a list, to set and change its parameters*;
- a possibility to connect a USB flash drive for transmission of statistical and other data to a personal computer*;
- crop capacity mapping function – the data are presented as data array containing crop capacity data tied to coordinates*;
- a possibility of speed calibration*, a possibility to change the readings of degree indicator of reaper’s partial width*.
Peak power consumption is 20 W maximum.
BTG (MTG) protection level ensured by the casing is IP54 according to GOST 14254-96.
BVV (MVV) and UFI protection level ensured by the casing is IP55 according to GOST 14254-96.*- for BIUS.01 and BIUS.02 systems only
